Smash Factor
Your Smash Factor is:
1.50
Optimal for Driver.
What is Smash Factor?
Smash factor is the mathematical representation of energy transfer from the clubhead to the golf ball. The maximum theoretical limit for a driver (based on USGA COR/CT limits) is roughly 1.52. PGA Tour average for a driver is 1.49.
How to improve it?
- Center Contact: Striking the ball on the center of gravity (CG) of the clubface is paramount. Off-center strikes lose energy rapidly.
- Optimized Dynamic Loft: Glancing blows (too much spin loft) reduce ball speed.
- Club Mass: A heavier clubhead transfers more energy (assuming you can swing it at the same speed).
